16bit Sensation: Another Layer - S01

Konoha Akisato has always loved bishoujo games-the kind where you interact with beautiful girls-and dreamed of becoming a successful artist. But when she lands her first job as a sub-illustrator at Blue Bell, a game company, she faces the grim truth: the bishoujo game industry in 2023 is flooded with lazy, low-quality releases, and Blue Bell is part of the problem. One day, while browsing a retro game shop and thinking back on the classics, Konoha mysteriously finds herself in 1992-right as the bishoujo game scene is taking off. At first, she struggles to adjust, but she soon joins Alcohol Soft, a small game company willing to hire her as an illustrator. Though she assumes her future skills will guarantee success, she quickly learns that the technology and art style are far more old-fashioned than she’s used to. If she wants to achieve her dreams, she’ll have to adapt fast.
