07-Ghost

For a thousand years, two powerful nations ruled the world: the Barsburg Empire, guarded by the Eye of Raphael, and the Kingdom of Laggs, protected by the Eye of Michael. Their brutal war ended with Laggs' destruction. Ten years later, Teito, a young orphan with no memory of his past, attends the Barsburg Imperial Military Academy alongside his closest friend, Mikage. Both hope to become officers, but Teito is haunted by nightmares-visions of Laggs Castle just before its fall, a mysterious man speaking of his "true mission," and an enemy brandishing a sword stained with blood. When Teito encounters Staff Chief Ayanami, his memories resurface. This is the enemy from his dreams. The dying man who warned him was his own father… and Teito is the lost prince of Laggs. Now, he must abandon the military to uncover his true purpose and the secrets of his past.
