Ten years after the Ceremonial Battle, a teenager named Judai Yuuki (Jaden Yuki) sets out to enroll at Duel Academia, a school for duelists on a secluded island near Japan. There, he befriends some classmates and clashes with others. Despite being placed in the lowest rank, Osiris Red (Slifer Red),Judai keeps challenging both students and teachers to improve his skills, aiming to prove himself as a talented duelist and win the respect of those around him.
