Yona of the Dawn

For generations, the people of Kouka have told the legend of the Four Dragons and the founding of their land. Now, the only heir to Hiryuu Palace is fifteen-year-old Princess Yona, who has lived a sheltered life. On the night of her sixteenth birthday, she hopes for a joyful celebration with her gentle father, King Il, her loyal friend and bodyguard Hak, and her cousin Soo-won, whom she secretly loves. But when she goes to confess her feelings to her father-who disapproves of her marrying Soo-won-she discovers a horrifying truth instead. This revelation sets Yona on a path where her fate becomes intertwined with that of the Four Dragons in a sweeping tale of fantasy, romance, and political intrigue.
