In the 25th century, a spaceship with 300 passengers leaves Earth to find a new home in the solar system, but a sudden accident sends them crashing into a black hole-one that leads to another universe. Stranded, the survivors escape in emergency capsules and land on a planet called Ismo. The story picks up twelve years after their arrival. Ismo is the lone remaining planet in the Onam System, a parallel version of our solar system. A deadly comet known as Yomi periodically drifts into the Onam System, threatening what little remains.
