Yan Yuechu moves back to his hometown for work and begins building friendships with his new colleagues. During a visit to the XY Escape Room, he becomes fascinated by its owner, Xu Aiyou-but soon after, unsettling illusions start haunting him inside the escape rooms. As he grows closer to Xu Aiyou, bizarre incidents begin affecting not just him but also his friends. While unraveling the mysteries of the escape rooms and searching for the person behind these events, Yan Yuechu slowly pieces together the truth about his own forgotten past.
