Venus Versus Virus
"Venus Versus Virus" follows Sumire Takahana, a girl who has been able to see ghosts since childhood-though no one takes her seriously. One night, as she hurries back to her dorm before curfew, a mysterious brooch appears out of nowhere. When she pricks her finger on it, a demon appears before her. A girl dressed in gothic lolita fashion suddenly arrives, wielding a massive gun, and kills the creature. After the fight, the girl hands Sumire a flyer for a boutique called Venus Vanguard. When Sumire visits the shop, she meets the girl again-Lucia Nabashi-who explains that pricking her finger on the brooch has given Sumire the ability to see demons as well as ghosts. Lucia then recruits Sumire to join her in fighting these demons, known as Virus, before they destroy humanity.
