They Were Eleven
The Interstellar Alliance brought peace to most of the universe, and in its wake, they founded the Cosmo Academy. Known as the most prestigious school in existence, its graduates can secure almost any job they want. But getting in isn't easy-entrance exams are held only once every three years, making the competition brutal. Lane Tadatos, a human from Earth, has made it to the final round of testing. He's placed in a group of ten and sent to the "Esperanza", a derelict ship stranded in orbit. Their last challenge is simple: survive 53 days aboard the ship with no outside contact, aside from an emergency button to forfeit. But when the group takes a headcount, they realize something is wrong. There are eleven people on the "Esperanza". One of them doesn’t belong.
