The Life of Budori Gusuko

The story follows Budori Gusuko, a young man living in the forests of Tohoku in 1920s Japan. When droughts and other natural disasters devastate his home, Budori has no choice but to leave in search of a new life. He eventually finds work with the Ihatov Volcano Department, a team of scientists studying the very forces of nature that uprooted him.
