The Deer King

Ten years ago, the Zol Empire invaded and absorbed the neighboring lands of Aquafa, but their conquest stopped at Fire Horse Village, where a strange and deadly disease called Black Wolf Fever broke out. Since then, most believed the illness had disappeared. Van Gansa, a prisoner of war, works under Zol supervision in a salt mine. One night, ghostly wolves attack, biting Van and a young girl named Yuna before they escape as the sole survivors. The official report later confirms the wolves carried Black Wolf Fever, which killed the guards and other workers almost instantly. Seizing their chance, Van and Yuna flee to a quiet farming village, hoping for a peaceful life. But unknown to Van, he’s being hunted-some want his blood as a potential cure for the disease, while others are determined to prevent that at any cost. Worse still, the threat lurking beneath the nation’s surface could soon spread far beyond its borders.
