Tales of the Abyss
Luke fon Fabre, the pampered son of a noble from the kingdom of Kimlasca-Lavaldear, has lived under strict confinement in his father's mansion ever since his kidnapping seven years ago by the rival Malkuth Empire. His memories of life before the incident are gone, and for years, a mysterious voice-audible only to him-has whispered in his mind. During a training session with his mentor, Van Grants, a woman named Tear storms the mansion, intent on killing Van. In the chaos, Luke and Tear are thrown far from home. Now free for the first time in years, Luke soon discovers that the world outside will force him to question everything he thought he knew about himself.
