Slayers

The story follows Lina Inverse, a young sorceress who lives for food, treasure, and a good fight. After swiping loot from a gang of bandits, she runs into a few stragglers on her way to the next town. Though she’s more than capable of handling herself, a well-meaning but not-too-bright swordsman named Gourry Gabriev jumps in to "save" her. The pair decide to travel together to Atlas City, battling enemies along the way. Meanwhile, two shadowy figures are tracking them, and they seem particularly fixated on the "treasure" Lina and Gourry took.
