Lina and Gourry arrive in the coastal town of Acassi, known for its prized octopus tentacle dishes. But the local delicacy hides a curse-anyone who eats it is doomed to speak only Takogo, the language of octopi. Soon, Amelia, Zelgadiss, and Xelloss appear, and all four of them fall victim to the curse. The octopi, seeking revenge, ally with a mazoku to wipe out the humans for good. To save the town, the white sorceress Ruma must track down her long-lost master and uncover the cure before it’s too late.
