Occult Academy - S01
世紀末オカルト学院 , Zaidanhoujin Occult Designer Gakuin, Seikimatsu Occult Academy
The story follows Maya, daughter of the former headmaster of Waldstein Academy, and Fumiaki Uchida, a time-traveling agent. In 2012, aliens invade Earth, prompting agents to travel back to 1999 to locate and destroy the Nostradamus Key-an object tied to the Nostradamus Prophecy, which predicts the world’s end. The story shifts to 1999, where Maya returns to the academy intending to take over her late father’s role as principal and dismantle the school. Her plans are disrupted when she meets Fumiaki and learns of the impending apocalypse. Though wary of him, she agrees to work with him to find the Nostradamus Key. To aid their search, time agents are given special cell phones. If a user suspects an object might be the key, they take a photo while imagining its destruction. If the image shows peace, the object is the key; if it shows ruin, it isn’t. Using this device, Maya and Fumiaki investigate strange occurrences around town.
