Reideen the Brave
After sleeping for twelve thousand years, the Demon Empire stirs to life, threatening to conquer Earth. Raideen, a giant robotic guardian of the lost continent Mu, senses their evil and awakens inside its golden pyramid. Akira Hibiki, a Japanese boy, hears a mysterious voice warning him of the Demon Empire and races to the pyramid. There, he learns he is a descendant of Mu's ancient people, destined to aid Raideen in defending the world. Akira boards the robot by riding his motorcycle up a ramp into its head, taking control from an internal cockpit. Along the way, he teams up with Mari Sakurano, the daughter of a famous scientist, and his soccer club friends. Midway through the battle, the Demon Empire's ruler, Barao, breaks free from his stone prison, determined to complete the destruction he began millennia ago.
