Red Data Girl

Izumiko Suzuhara, a 15-year-old girl raised at Tamakura Shrine, has a strange ability-any electrical device she touches breaks. Wanting to experience life outside the shrine, she moves to Tokyo and enrolls at Houjou High School. Her childhood friend Miyuki Sagara, the son of her guardians, accompanies her. Soon after, a mysterious being called "Himegami" appears. Izumiko discovers she is a "kami," a vessel for a Shinto spirit, while Miyuki is a "yamabushi," a warrior sworn to protect the "kami."
