Released on SEGA's website in November 2008, "Sonic: Night of the Werehog" is a short online animation promoting "Sonic World Adventure" (titled "Sonic Unleashed" in North America and Europe). On a stormy night, Sonic and Chip explore a deserted haunted house, only to run into two playful ghosts. The ghosts love scaring visitors to snap their frightened photos, hoping to impress the ghost girl who shares their home. While they manage to terrify Chip, Sonic remains completely unfazed. Frustrated, the ghosts team up to finally get a reaction out of him. But with the full moon rising, Sonic might just have a trick of his own to turn the tables.
