Princess Resurrection

"Princess Resurrection" is a Japanese horror-comedy manga written and illustrated by Yasunori Mitsunaga. It was serialized monthly in "Monthly Shōnen Sirius" and published by Kodansha. In 2007, Madhouse produced a 26-episode anime adaptation that aired on TBS. Both the manga and anime have been released in North America, with Del Rey Manga handling the manga and Sentai Filmworks licensing the anime, which is also available on the Anime Network website. Tatsunoko Production later created a new OVA series, with the first episode bundled with the manga's 13th volume in December 2010, followed by the second and third episodes with volumes 14 and 16, respectively. A spin-off manga, "Naqua-Den," focusing on a side character from "Princess Resurrection," was released in 2012 and currently spans two volumes.
