Overlord

In 2138, virtual reality gaming is at its peak. When the popular online game Yggdrasil unexpectedly shuts down, a player named Momonga chooses to stay logged in. He awakens in the form of a skeletal figure, now embodying "the most powerful wizard." As the world around him shifts, the game’s NPCs start developing emotions. With no family, friends, or ties to the real world, Momonga-an ordinary young man-resolves to conquer this strange new reality the game has become.
