Nodame Cantabile

Shinichi Chiaki is a talented musician from a prestigious family, determined to perform among Europe's finest. A notorious perfectionist, he holds himself and others to impossibly high standards. But despite his ambitions, his crippling fear of flying keeps him stuck in Japan. In his fourth year at the country's top music university, Chiaki crosses paths with Noda Megumi-or "Nodame," as she calls herself. At first glance, she seems messy and aimless, but when Chiaki hears her play the piano, he's stunned by her raw, expressive talent. To his irritation, Nodame ends up moving into the apartment next to his and quickly falls head-over-heels in love with him.
