Nerima Daikon Brothers

What can a struggling band do when they’re broke and far from playing sold-out arenas? How will they ever earn enough to build their dream Concert Dome? The truth is, they probably can’t-but that won’t stop the Nerima Daikon Brothers from trying! By day, Hideki, Ichiro, and Mako (yes, one of them’s a woman) work as humble daikon farmers. By night, they take on sleazy record producers, gambling-obsessed old women, terrifying nurses, gassy hospital administrators, and attractive policewomen. Along the way, both the band and their ridiculous foes belt out absurd, catchy songs. And what exactly is a daikon? Is it a vegetable, a fruit, a weapon, or a girl’s best friend? Maybe it’s all of those things-you’ll have to find out for yourself.
