Some stories are strange, but few are as strange as Sado’s-he’s just figured out that he enjoys being miserable. The problem is, realizing that only makes him feel worse, which just feeds the cycle. Hoping to escape it, he joins a peculiar club where he thinks he can sort out his problems, only to find the other members have their own… complicated issues to work through. Take Isurugi, the club president: she’s aggressively hostile, claims to be a god, and has an irrational fear of cats. Then there’s Yuno, who panics around men; the Nurse, who pressures people into cosplay; and Hayama, Sado’s best friend-a compulsive cross-dresser and the girl he secretly loves.
