Metamorphoses

"Winds of Change" weaves together five ancient Greek myths with vibrant animation and a lively disco-rock soundtrack. Inspired by Ovid’s classic tales, the series introduces a new character, Wondermaker, who serves as a guide through each story. He shapeshifts into the myths’ heroes, bringing them to life: first as Perseus, slaying Medusa; then as Actaeon, turned into a deer for glimpsing the goddess Diana bathing; later as Mercury in a story of envy; as Orpheus, venturing into Hades for Eurydice; and finally as Phaeton, whose reckless handling of the sun-god’s chariot brings chaos. Each episode unfolds as a playful yet cautionary fable, with Wondermaker revealing its deeper meaning.
