Major 2nd

Shigeno Daigo is a sixth-grader whose father, Goro, is a professional baseball player-and even played in the Major Leagues. Wanting to follow in his dad’s footsteps, Daigo joined the Mifune Dolphins, a youth baseball team. But the pressure of being a pro’s son got to him, and he quit within a year. That spring, a new student named Sato Hikaru transfers to his school. Hikaru’s father, Toshiya, is another former Major Leaguer-and a close friend of Goro’s. As their paths cross, the two boys find their lives taking an unexpected turn.
