King of Thorn
A deadly virus called "Medusa" spreads across the world, becoming a global epidemic. To escape the outbreak, a select few are placed into cold sleep capsules, awaiting a future cure. Among them is Kasumi, a teenage girl chosen as one of the 160 participants. She enters the Cold Sleep Capsule Center (CSCC),housed in an ancient castle, clinging to the faint hope of reuniting with her infected twin sister, Shizuku. When Kasumi and the others awaken, they find the CSCC changed-the castle is now overgrown with thorns, like something from "Sleeping Beauty," and they are attacked by strange creatures. How long were they asleep? Where did these monsters come from? What has become of the world outside? Stranded in this mystery, the struggle for survival begins for the seven who remain.
