Kill la Kill

Honnouji Academy is under the strict rule of its student council, led by its ruthless president, Satsuki Kiryuin. When transfer student Ryuko Matoi arrives on campus, she carries a massive sword-actually one half of a giant scissor-and is determined to find the woman who murdered her father and holds the other half. Rumors suggest Satsuki knows the killer’s identity, but when Ryuko challenges her, she’s quickly overpowered by the student council and their enhanced "Goku Uniforms," which far surpass her strength. But things change when Ryuko gains her own powerful "Kamui" named Senketsu, shifting the balance in her favor.
