Kemonozume

For centuries, creatures called Shokujinki have hidden among humans, appearing human themselves but capable of turning into monstrous beasts with deadly claws. To survive, they must feed on humans. The Kifuuken dojo, equally secretive, is dedicated to hunting them by severing their arms-the only line of defense against Shokujinki domination. Toshihiko Momota, son of the Kifuuken leader, is immediately drawn to a mysterious woman named Yuka Kamitsuki. Their bond is fraught with tension, as neither realizes Yuka is a Shokujinki and Toshihiko is bound by duty to kill her. Meanwhile, the Kifuuken faces internal turmoil as Toshihiko’s brother, Kazuma, challenges tradition and pushes for modernization. With emotions running high and long-buried secrets coming to light, the question remains: who will survive, and who will be devoured?
