Jungle King Taa-chan
Ta-chan is the self-proclaimed king of the jungle. After being abandoned in the savanna as a child, he was raised by a chimpanzee named Etekichi. He has a beloved wife, Jane, a former top model from New York-though her current appearance tells a different story. To defend the animals from poachers, Ta-chan fights alongside his disciple, Pedro, and Ryo, a master of Chinese martial arts. The anime adapts the manga of the same name, starting as a comedic parody of Tarzan. While the early episodes lean into humor, the later part of the series takes a more serious tone.
