Gon Freecss learns that his father, whom he believed was dead, is actually alive. Ging is a renowned Hunter-a title given to those who have reached the pinnacle of human skill. Inspired by this revelation, Gon resolves to become a Hunter himself and take on the grueling Hunter Exam to follow in his father's path.
