Heat Guy J
"Heat Guy J" is a 26-episode sci-fi anime series directed by Kazuki Akane, known for "Escaflowne," and produced by Satelight. Pioneer licensed and released the series in the U.S. in 2003, followed by a re-release from Funimation Entertainment in fall 2009. The first 13 episodes aired on MTV2. A single-volume manga adaptation was also released, licensed by TOKYOPOP. In the UK, Manga Entertainment began distributing the series on DVD in March 2006, packaging it in double-DVD sets due to earlier delays.
