Hatena Illusion

Long ago, numerous magical "Artifacts" were stolen and lost across the world, ending up in the hands of ordinary people who should never have known about them. The Hoshisato family, a lineage of magicians with a unique connection to the Artifacts, has made it their mission to recover them. Kana, though still inexperienced, wants to help her parents and works hard to grow stronger. Around the same time, her childhood friend Makoto arrives at their mansion to train under her father’s guidance. Kana is thrilled to reunite with him-until she realizes the "girl" she thought she knew all these years is actually a boy, leaving her deeply disappointed. Soon, Makoto learns about the Artifacts, but he remains undeterred. He stays committed to his goals: to use magic to soothe the pain of others and, above all, to become someone worthy of standing by Kana’s side.
