Handa-kun

Six years before "Barakamon," Seishuu Handa is a high school student with an unusual problem. Though he's seen by his classmates as a calligraphy prodigy and treated with deep respect, Handa misunderstands their admiration as bullying. All he wants is a peaceful life, but his status as the school's idol keeps drawing attention. Despite his confusion and discomfort, every challenger who tries to test his reputation ends up becoming another devoted admirer-much to Handa's dismay.
