Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash

Fear, survival, instinct. Stranded in a strange land with nothing but foggy memories and their own names, these emotions are all they have left. With no other options, a group of strangers takes the only job available in this world-joining the Reserve Army as soldiers to maintain order in Grimgar by eliminating threats. While the stronger recruits form their own groups, the leftovers are forced to band together: Manato, a natural leader and priest; Haruhiro, an anxious thief; Yume, an upbeat hunter; Shihoru, a timid mage; Mogzo, a gentle warrior; and Ranta, a loudmouthed dark knight. Though this world feels like a game, it’s anything but-there are no second chances here, only the brutal choice between killing or being killed. Now, this mismatched party must learn to rely on each other to survive in a place where death lurks just one misstep away.
