Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
Two years ago, the world changed forever. Though Cloud Strife and his friends managed to stop Sephiroth from destroying the planet with a massive meteor, their victory came at a heavy price. The city of Midgar was nearly torn apart in the battle, but most of its people escaped and later rebuilt their lives in a new settlement called Edge. In "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children," Cloud and Tifa struggle to move forward in this changed world, running a delivery service while caring for Barret’s adopted daughter Marlene and an orphan named Denzel. But their new life is far from peaceful-Denzel, Cloud, and many other children are afflicted with a strange sickness known as "Geostigma." To make matters worse, a group of three powerful men are abducting infected kids for unknown reasons. Cloud is resolved to protect these children, not just from the disease, but from their kidnappers. What he doesn’t realize is that these men are tied to his old nemesis, Sephiroth, and confronting them will force him to face his past demons once more. If there’s any chance of overcoming these dangers, it lies in the strength of Cloud’s bonds with the friends who saved the world before-and must now do it again.
