Ikuro, a young man with no ill will, has his brain forcibly implanted with a parasite called Baoh by the sinister organization Doress. The parasite grants him near-immortality and the power to transform into a monstrous, superhuman form when threatened. Doress plans to exploit him for profit and global control, but during a train transport, a psychic girl named Sumire-also held captive by the organization-helps him escape. Now on the run together, they must evade Doress's relentless pursuit. Leading the hunt is Dr. Kasuminome, the deranged scientist behind Baoh, who refuses to let his prized test subject slip away. With a team of enhanced enforcers and a private army at his command, he will stop at nothing to recapture Ikuro.
