F-Zero: GP Legend

Ryu Suzaku, also known as Rick Wheeler, was a detective who nearly died in a car crash while chasing the criminal Zoda. Placed in suspended animation for 150 years, he’s revived by Jody Summer and Dr. Stewart. They’re part of a team of noble racers who aim to stop prize money from falling into the wrong hands-specifically the Dark Million Organization, led by Black Shadow and Deathborn, which now includes a resurrected Zoda.
