After the Heath Oslo incident, the public learned about CIRS, a US-Japanese anti-terror organization. CIRS was restructured, with its most secretive operations moving to a new agency called SORD (Social Ops, Research & Development). SORD’s mission is to prepare a new wave of operatives to protect the country from future threats. To achieve this, the agency has set up specialized training schools across the nation. One of these is Mihama Academy, a previously abandoned school now repurposed as a training ground for future agents. The revived Mihama Academy hosts a varied group of students, each honing their unique skills-often through real-world missions. The school arms its misfit girls with guns and live ammunition, sending them into perilous, off-the-books operations for the sake of national security. "We’ve been given a place in this world.
