Twelve years ago, massive alien invaders attacked Earth. In response, the planet's top scientists and corporations joined forces to build an incredibly powerful giant robot. But like many government projects, the contract went to the cheapest option. By the time the robot was finished, the invaders had vanished without explanation. The machine, named Dai-Guard, became first a novelty, then a tourist attraction. Now the invaders have returned, and the only ones standing in their way are a group of office workers who’ve been making extra cash as part-time pilots and tour guides.
