Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth
The story unfolds in the late 1800s, when Japanese culture begins to captivate the West. Yune, a young Japanese girl, travels to France with a French explorer named Oscar and agrees to assist at his family's ironwork shop in Paris. Though Oscar's nephew Claude, who runs the shop, hesitates to look after Yune, the two slowly bridge their differences and learn to coexist in 19th-century Paris.
