Cardfight!! Vanguard

Aichi Sendou is a shy middle schooler who tends to dwell on the past rather than the future. The only thing that keeps him going is a cherished card called "Blaster Blade," given to him as a child. His life changes when Toshiki Kai, a distant and skilled high schooler, introduces him to "Vanguard," a globally popular card game with a unique battle system. Players imagine themselves fighting on a world called "Clay," and Aichi quickly falls in love with the game. He starts playing with friends like Misaki Togura and Kamui Katsuragi, as well as Kai-a top-tier Vanguard player who becomes his rival. Determined to prove himself, Aichi throws himself into mastering the game, hoping that one day Kai will acknowledge his strength.
