Beast Tamer

Rein, a Beast Tamer, fights alongside heroes to defeat the Demon King-until his party deems him useless and casts him out. Deciding to live a carefree life as an adventurer, he takes the required test. During the trial, he encounters Kanade, a girl under attack by a monster. Rein risks his life to help her escape, only for her to effortlessly defeat the creature in a single strike. Kanade, it turns out, belongs to the extraordinarily powerful cat people, one of the strongest races. Drawn to Rein's skill and kindness, she asks, "Would you try to tame me?" He forms a contract with her, the strongest cat-eared girl, and begins his new adventurer life. Soon, the heroes who abandoned him-along with other powerful races-start to take notice of his growing strength.
