In the near future, humanity is on the brink of annihilation due to monstrous beings called "Huge." To fight back, the world unites and creates "CHARM" (Counter Huge Arms),weapons forged from a blend of science and magic. These weapons work best with teenage girls, who become celebrated heroes known as "Lilies." To train and protect them, military academies called "Gardens" are established worldwide. Riri Hitotsuyanagi earns a place at the elite Yurigaoka Girls' School, one such Garden. She joins in hopes of finding Yuyu Shirai, the girl who once saved her.
